Hello there, and welcome to this space, whether you are a longtime follower or a new reader!
If you’ve been following along, you might have noticed a few changes—like the new logo and updated blog information. Have you wondered why? Up until now, I focused on explaining general psychological concepts relevant to everyday life. While I enjoyed that, something always felt slightly off—like I wasn’t quite sharing the topics that truly light me up.

As someone with a professional background in psychology, I love exploring human behavior, attention, and well-being. But what really excites me is the intersection of these topics with something deeply important to me: slow, nature-based living. Every time I come across research on how nature influences mental health, the effects of meditation on the brain, the role of slow dopamine, or the impact of digital devices on our attention spans, I find myself completely captivated. These are the things I read about in my free time, the concepts I think about daily, and the ideas I discuss with friends.
And of course, I’ve noticed these patterns in my own life, too. After a full day of work, I sometimes come home feeling completely drained. My first instinct? To pick up my phone and start scrolling, thinking it will help me unwind. Instead, I end up feeling even more exhausted, like my energy is slipping away in a way I can’t quite explain. Lately, I’ve been trying something different—stepping outside for a short walk instead. The difference is striking. Rather than feeling mentally scattered and restless, I come back home feeling recharged, but in a calm, grounded way. Moments like these always remind me just how much our daily habits shape our well-being, often in ways we don’t realize.
So, I want this space to reflect that curiosity and passion. I want it to be a place for anyone interested in understanding these topics and maybe even making small, meaningful changes in their own life. I firmly believe that to create lasting change, we first need to understand the “why” behind our habits and behaviors.
The internet is full of people promoting quick fixes, tying everything to spirituality, or repeating the same surface-level advice. But I felt something was missing—a space where these ideas are explored through a scientific lens, in a way that is both accessible and engaging. So I thought, why not share what I’m already researching for myself, with all of you?
If you’re looking for a more intentional, slower, and more fulfilling way to live—one backed by science and curiosity—I’d love for you to follow along!
Every Sunday, I’ll be sharing new posts exploring different aspects of slow, nature-based living through a scientific lens. Some weeks, I’ll dive deep into the psychology behind our habits, attention, and well-being from the viewpoint of slow, nature-based living. Other times, I’ll share recommendations—whether it’s a habit worth trying, a book that inspired me, a gadget that I love for living a mindful lifestyle, or simple everyday changes that align with a more intentional way of living.
No matter the topic, you can always expect research-backed insights and practical takeaways.
